Will the group find its way? Who's the leader? Will all agree on the next best step? Will members listen to all or follow the one who moves the fastest or talks the loudest? Who is left puzzled? Who cares? It all remains to be seen during Charting the Course, a day of hiking, orienteering, and an adventure in group dynamics. Using maps and compasses, the group must get organized to reach all the checkpoints located throughout a square mile of open woodland and return back before the other teams. As with many things we all do, both in the office and out, it is more about the quality of the journey than the destination itself. With this lesson in mind, we will take the time to discuss the day - challenges and victories alike.
